Dr. Anne Field

The newest addition to our Veterinary staff, Dr. Anne Field received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2010 after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at the University of Maine in 2006.  While in school, Anne gained valuable experience in various emergency and general practice hospitals.  She has a special interest in pain management, oncology, and emergency medicine.  What drew her to general practice was the desire to work with the community and promote general pet knowledge and health care.

Anne was born in Massachusetts and spent her childhood moving around the country as well as overseas; some of her fondest memories are of exploring castles near her childhood home in Great Britain.

Sports have been a big part of Anne’s life from a young age.  Gymnastics was her first love and she continued the sport until college.  In high school, Anne discovered pole vaulting and was a pioneer for the women’s sport in New Jersey and she continued vaulting competitively in college.

Dr. Anne is excited to be back in the Boston area where she spends her free time with her husband, Tim, and Newfoundland, Belle.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, snowboarding, and traveling.
